The Hera's Shield was a Union-class DropShip operated by the Word of Blake. Its color was described as bone white.[1]
On 3 November 3067 the ship launched from the city of Hope on Jardine to (ostensibly) pursue a K-1 DropShuttle that pretended to be Dr. Brooklyn Stevens's shuttle fleeing the planet; the fake pursuit from the Hera's Shield was part of the ruse.
Precentor Damien Lucille was initially aboard the Hera's Shield, but at some point after the ship had reached high orbit over Jardine he transferred to the K-1 DropShuttle Stiletto-7. [1]
