Major Jason Shuener was a Mercenary and Federated Suns MechWarrior during the thirty-first century.[1]

History[edit]
Mercenary[edit]
Initially a Mercenary, Shuener and his unit were engaged by the Black Dragon Society to conduct a supposed objective raid on Dalkeith as part of one of their many plots, during the early part of the FedCom Civil War. While his Mercenary unit were quickly defeated by the defending Fourth Deneb Light Cavalry, Shuener remained behind as a one-man rear guard, and manage to defeat a Davion Spector and Enforcer before being captured.[1]
Federated Suns[edit]
Still a prisoner when the Loyalist Thirteenth Donegal Guards attacked the Fourth Deneb, for the benefit of Katherine Steiner-Davion, Shuener was quickly pardoned and breveted to Leftenant in the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns. Following the Civil War, Shuener remained with the Fourth Deneb, eventually rising to the rank of Major.[1]
Word of Blake Jihad[edit]
Based on Deneb Kaitos at the start of the Word of Blake Jihad with the Fourth Deneb, Shuener fought with the planetary resistance against the Word of Blake, dying scant days before the world was finally liberated during Operation SCOUR in 3078.
BattleMechs[edit]
Shuener was known to have initially piloted a Phoenix Hawk BattleMech while a Mercenary. Later, while with the AFFS, Shuener piloted a Chameleon BattleMech.[1]
