Jonai was a notable officer in Clan Smoke Jaguar's Psi Galaxy during the Clan Invasion.[1]

Star Commander Jonai's grip on her sanity was questionable, having repeatedly stated that the Inner Sphere was not what it seemed. According to Jonai, the Inner Sphere knew the Clans were coming and were waiting for them, as the people of the Inner Sphere wanted to submit to Clan rule were it not for the corruption of the Great Houses. On multiple occasions, Jonai ordered Inner Sphere opponents to disavow their leaders and to let the Smoke Jaguars claim their planets without a fight, although none had accepted her offer.[1]
