The Clan Striker Star is a collection of five plastic miniatures for use in the classic BattleTech tabletop and Alpha Strike games. The box also provides five dry-erase cards, which are intended to directly support Alpha Strike gameplay, and five new Clan Pilot Cards.
The Clan Striker Star was created as a part of the Clan Invasion Kickstarter 2019, as a stretch goal available at US$675,000 and superseding the originally solicited Clan Light Fire Star which was to contain the Howler, Solitaire, Incubus, Pack Hunter and Horned Owl. Following a consultation exercise on the contents of the various ForcePacks with the Kickstarter backers conducted during the campaign, the Light Fire Star was instead replaced with the Striker Star with the Incubus and Horned Owl retained with the Conjurer, Piranha and Vapor Eagle added in place of the Howler, Pack Hunter (which were instead reassigned to the Clan Ad Hoc Star) and Solitaire
In addition to being chosen as a pledge reward, the Clan Striker Star could be purchased as an add-on item for US$25 per pack before being sold at mass retail following the conclusion of the campaign.
