Colonel Karl Verhoffen was the commander of the Support Battalion of Wolf's Dragoons as of 3030.[1]

Verhoffen was reputed to be fatherly commander, who treated his troops as if they were his children, and was extremely reluctant to risk their lives unnecessarily. This approach was controversial, with some respecting his concern for those under his command, and other considering him an old, overcautious sentimentalist.[1]
