The Korvalis Sect was a small philosophical movement, based on the Korvin Doctrine, which was promoted by Chancellor Normann Aris.[1]
History[edit]
When Chancellor Normann Aris wanted assistance with his economic revolution within the Capellan Confederation, he turned to the Korvalis Sect, to provide its theoretical underpinning. The Sect was comprised of philosopher-scientists based on Elgin, who followed the Korvin Doctrine of Alana Korvin DeVall, and believed society should be ruled by a scientific elite.[1]
