Mark Brandhauber was the commanding officer of the First Regulan Hussars as of 3044.[3]

Colonel Brandhauber, serving with the First Regulan Hussars, was stationed on Regulus in 3050 and remained there by 3067.[2][3][4] In 3054, Brandhauber commanded the First Hussars' First and Second Battalions on Regulus while the Third Battalion was on detached duty on Wallis.[5] Given command of the unit after Baron Gerald Cameron-Jones became Harmony's parliamentary representative in 3044, Brandhauber previously commanded the First Regulan's Eastern Star Strike Battalion. Serving with distinction during the regiment's raids against the Lyran Commonwealth in 3027, Brandhauber received the Regulan Ankh for his role during the First Regulan's actions on Dixie.[3]
Brandhauber and the First Hussars were still stationed on Regulus when the Word of Blake attacked Regulus City in 3072. He managed to eliminate a number of Blakist BattleMechs with his Arrow IV missiles but was killed when he was not at the controls of his 'Mech while inside the city's palace.[1]
