Scott was a MechWarrior with the Fifty-fourth Provisional Garrison Cluster and later the Third Bear Regulars.[1][2]

Decanted into the Hind Paw Sibko, Scott was one of two cadets to survive their battle with pirates on Thule in 3070. His actions in that engagement and the two kills in his Trial of Position led to his acknowledgment as a Clan ristar. Following his Trial he was posted to the Fifty-fourth Provisional Garrison Cluster as a Star Commander, an assignment he hoped was only a temporary assignment.[1]
By 3085, Scott had risen to the rank of Star Colonel and command of the Third Bear Regulars, stationed on Rubigen.[2]

Scott was known to pilot a Bear Cub BattleMech.[1]
