Merge into main page[edit]
In my opinion this sub-page belongs into the main article, to keep all relevant information in one spot.
As an aside, we generally seek to avoid sub-pages here on Sarna as a matter of principle. Frabby (talk) 08:00, 25 March 2018 (EDT)
- Whilst I agree with you in general terms, if you look at the MechCommandr/MechCommander 2 sub-pages the plan is that these will have "Video Game" data in them in an effort to contain said information from spreading to other parts of the wiki, they are part of a dedicated Video Game Resource category of articles.--Dmon (talk) 08:05, 25 March 2018 (EDT)
- Slightly confused. Will have to look into this. At first glance it seems counterintuitive to treat computer game content different from other apocryphal content. We do have an established Policy:Canon in place after all? Frabby (talk) 08:12, 25 March 2018 (EDT)
- Again I agree with you but we have members of the community who really, really like the "number crunching" and want this information on here regardless of what ever policy we have, so do we really want say the Medium Laser article to have to include information and stats from every single video game? I see this as me heading off the potential influx of data from the BT video game and new editors who may not be aware of policy. To my mind this seems like an easier solution rather than fight the flood. As a side thing, Paradox Interactive use MediaWiki too so I expect a fair bit of cross-polination once the official wiki goes up over on their site.--Dmon (talk) 08:34, 25 March 2018 (EDT)
