Lin Tranh was a member of ComStar's Explorer Corps. While exploring Buffalo Meadows in 3021, Tranh discovered the remains of the SLDF 295th BattleMech Division.[1] This find was kept secret for over a century to keep SLDF 'Mechs out of Successor State hands. Eventually, in 3150, one of Tranh's descendants sold knowledge of the location, sparking conflict over control of the remains.[2]
