The 101st Battle Cluster was a second-line military unit of Clan Wolf.

History[edit]

In 3063, the Cluster defended Rasalhague against a Clan Ghost Bear attack. Initially, the Wolves held the advantage. However, the fighting exposed their relative lack of ground units proved to be their downfall as the Wolves were forced off planet.[2][3] By 3067, the Cluster was stationed on Liezen.[1]

The cluster participated in the successful action to cut off the Falcon push against Terra, in a short and brutal campaign. No sooner had they returned to their garrison worlds when they came under attack from Clan Hell's Horses. They were forced to retreat but took a defensive line at Hohenems. The fight here lasted two years and took its toll on the Cluster in terms of warriors and matériel. In 3079 the Cluster had redeployed to the border with Clan Ghost Bear and had taken up position on Ramsau.[4]
