History

Age of War

The original 2nd Tikonov Guards was a unit that fought for the Capellan Confederation during the Age of War. They were apparently destroyed and the Strategios decided not to rebuild the unit.

Rebirth

Numerous resistance groups were formed following the loss of central authority brought about by Gray Monday. Located around the Tikonov region, these Freedom Fighters against the Republic of the Sphere were too far away from the frontlines to receive much assistance from House Liao and many were destroyed. Those who were still alive by the time the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces advance reached them were re-equipped from Capellan supply depots and amalgamated into the 2nd Tikonov Guards.[1]

The unit was a reserve regiment of the Tikonov Commonality.

Operation GREAT FLOOD

Operation CELESTIAL VENGEANCE

In December of 3144, the Second Tikonov Guards alongside the Fifth McCarron's Armored Cavalry defeated the Twelfth Vegan Rangers and secured Chesterton for the Capellan Confederation.[2]

Officers

In 3145 the commanding officer was Sang-shao Bronislaw Podjasek.[3]

Tactics

The 2nd Tikonov Guards are noted to have never withdrawn and prefer going toe to toe with their opponents. The unit can withstand enormous pressure without breaking.[1]
