Overview[edit]

The Thirty-Seventh Mechanized Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

History[edit]

In 2764 the Thirty-seventh was a part of LI Corps within the Eleventh Army and was assigned to District 1 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region. The Thirty-Seventh was then transferred to District 2 of the LCMR by 2765 in response to the Periphery Uprising.[2] The Division was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]

Tactics[edit]

The Mechanized Infantry Divisions of the Star League were used offensively to exploit gaps in the enemy front created by the BattleMech Divisions. They also bore the brunt of defensive actions.

Composition History[edit]

The Division comprised two Brigades of Mechanized Infantry and a single BattleMech Brigade. Also attached was a Ground Aero Wing.[3]
