History

The Fourth Hesperus Guards were stationed on Lamon in 2765. The regiment was originally known as the Second Freedom People's Defense Regiment. It was was the only unit of the Freedom People's Defense unit that wasn't disbanded after the Outer Reaches Rebellion.[1]

The unit was largely composed of medium weight units. Where possible they used their weight advantage against lighter units, and they used hit and run tactics against heavier foes. The unit had two company of heavy units that were typically held in reserve until they could make a decisive contribution.[1]
