The Fifty-third Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

History

The 53rd Infantry Division was a part of XVI Corps, Second Army, which in 2764 was assigned to District 1 of the Federated Suns Military Region. In 2765 the 53rd was transferred to District 3 of the FSMR as part of the redeployment effort to fight the New Vandenberg Uprising.[1]

The 53rd was the only division of Sixteenth Corps to survive the Amaris Civil War, and would follow General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[1]
