Overview
The Five Hundred Forty-first Battle Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the V Corps, Eleventh Army, to District 1 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region. It served as a reserve for the Corps, maintaining a presence on Sakhalin that was on the opposite side of the world from the rest of V Corps. This allowed the unit to maintain its independence.[1]
By 2765 it was transferred to District 3 to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[2] The 541st was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]
Composition
As an SLDF Battle regiment the 541st would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs.[3]
