In 2765, the Ninth Proserpina Hussars were stationed on Santiago and was considered a "Light" regiment. Their supporting elements consisted of two armor regiments (entirely made of hover tanks), two jump infantry regiments and one aerospace wing. The Ninth remained on Santiago until the beginning of the First Succession War.[1][2]
Succession Wars
First Succession War
The Ninth Proserpina Hussars participated in the fighting along the Lyran Commonwealth border. The unit survived the deadly conflict and returned to their post on Santiago at the end of the war.[3]
Second Succession War
The Ninth Proserpina Hussars all fought in the Second Succession War. One notable engagement was the fighting on Kristiandsund against the Seventh Tikonov Lancers of the Capellan Confederation. The DCMS and Ninth Proserpina Hussars took advantage of the HPGs being turned off in Marik space by Comstar. The Confederation has a similar idea and thus one of few conflicts between House Liao and House Kurita occurred.[4]
They once against survived the fighting and were posted to Helen at the end of the war.[5]
