Description

Designed in 2755, by Hegemony Research and Development Department, Weapons Division of the original Star League to maintain the technological edge over the other Great Houses. The Atlas II, was exclusively for the SLDF's Royal Regiments. Technological counterpart to Regular SLDF's ASD-7 Atlas.

In 2785, when General Kerensky put call for loyal forces to join in him his Exodus. All Atlas IIs pilots responded and left with him leaving none of designs behind. These mechs are prized by Clans when they are found. One such mech was spotted in 3052 during the Battle of Tukayyid.

In early 3070s the design was resurrected by Word of Blake when they captured Hesperus II's factories. After liberation of Defiance Industries, the company kept the mech in production.

Armament & Equipment

Atlas II is armed with array of weaponary, including an medium calibur LB-X, pair of Extended Large Lasers, and 20-tube Long Range Missile Launcher for range attacks. For close range combat, the mech is rounded with pair of Medium Pulse Lasers and Holly Six Pack. In addition, the mech been given CASE for both its torso so to keep it ammo bins from consuming the mech.

The weapons payload gives the design more broad range attack ablity verses Atlas's brawling weaponary with its limited long range attack capacities.
