As a young and inexperienced MechWarrior, Avarah earned her status as a ristar during the Falcon Incursion. Avarah was one of those who fought against forces from Wolf's Dragoons at the Port St. William Spaceport on Coventry in 3058; piloting a Fire Falcon, Avarah battled Colonel Shelly Brubaker, who was leading the local Dragoon forces. Despite a weight mismatch of almost fifty tons, Avarah almost toppled Brubaker's 'Mech, a key factor in the Dragoons' decision to break their batchall and call in reinforcements.[1] [2]
Avarah earned further status in the eyes of her fellow Falcons on Koniz, later in the Falcon Incursion, when the rapid redeployment of Elementals via her Fire Falcon contributed to the trap that saw Barber's Marauder IIs take heavy damage.[1] [2]
The skill displayed by Avarah during the Incursion resulted in her being sponsored for a chance to win the Roshak Bloodname, which she successfully accomplished. Avarah was subsequently considered to be very likely to take command of the Twelfth Falcon Regulars.[1] [2]
