Plot summary[edit]
In October 3067 the crisis on Hall comes to a head as firefights erupt between the numerous parties on the planet. On 11 October, Colonel John Marik-Johns of the 3rd Dismal Disinherited regiment is staging a fighting withdrawal from Hall in his WHM-8D Warhammer under pressure from the 4th Oriente Hussars and "Emperor" William "Bud" Baranov's 4th Republican Guards. Pondering the political situation and the evident bad blood on both sides of the fighting, he hopes it wasn't him who made a critical mistake...
