Paxon was initially an armored vehicle driver, rising through the ranks to become a MechWarrior, reaching company command shortly before 3028. While talented on taking charge of Paxton's Company (Paxon's Lancers), Charlie Battalion of Epsilon Regiment, he remained inexperienced, and was transferred to act as Major Neil Parella's Executive Officer in Epsilon's Fourth Provisional Company in the Dragoons' reorganization following the Battle of Misery. This transfer was intended to help him gain experience, as well as provide cover to the suspected alcoholic Parella.
Paxon fought with the Fourth Provisional Company in the Battle of Crossing, during which his 'Mech was destroyed.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Paxon was known to pilot a BattleMaster BattleMech, though it was destroyed on Crossing.[1]
