The articles in this category cover real-world BattleTech events that were organized and played out as Worldwide Events (WWE) by the official demo team.

Not all Worldwide Events were declared canonical, so despite a certain overlap with Category:Canon Events they are distinct subtypes of the Real World Event category.

The WWEs for the classic board game should not be confused with the Category:MWDA Events which form a distinct subcategory because even though they were also set in the BattleTech univese, they were held for the MWDA game and not the classic BattleTech board game.
