Indigo Rain, X72 - Y399 Northwind System 29 December, 3069 Stuart Campbell managed to smuggle himself off Northwind in a small shuttlecraft armed only with a powerful communications system. Broadcasting a powerful repeater beacon, Campbell's sole mission was to attract some merchant traffic that may arrive at the system's farthest pirate points and pass on vital information regarding Northwind. Though he can no longer fulfill his mission - he died from injuries sustained in his escape before his air had a chance to run out - his beacon message didn't go unnoticed. Two forces converged on the small planetoid at the edge of Northwind system - one to liberate, one to destroy. In the balance hangs the future of an entire system...
