The ECV Curie was a Magellan-class JumpShip serving with ComStar's Explorer Corps.

As of ca. 3084 it was tasked with downloading data from a Cassion satellite every two years; said satellite was put on a scientific mission at some point between the Word of Blake's conquest of Terra in 3058 and the compilation of the Technical Readout: Vehicle Annex Revised in 3084, releasing its cargo of sensor satellites into the V4641 black hole once every three months and recording the resultant data for later retrieval by the Curie.[1]
