Ethan Kuhn was the commanding officer of the Teyvareb TTM as of 3043.[1]
History
Colonel Kuhn, serving with the Teyvareb TTM, was stationed on Teyvareb in 3062. Formerly an infantryman in the First Lyran Regulars, Kuhn earned a field commission during the battle on Harvest during the Fourth Succession War. Kuhn proved himself to be an able officer and rose quickly through the ranks but his humble origins earned him the enmity of those Lyran officers who viewed him as an upstart. Despite this, Kuhn's perseverance allowed him to surmount every obstacle placed in his path, culminating in his attainment of the rank of colonel and command of the Teyvareb Militia in 3043. Still, Kuhn's career became stalled, as the elitist network of officers in the Lyran Alliance Armed Forces' High Command continuously passed him over for promotion despite his value as an officer.[1]
Rumored to have perished during the Federated Commonwealth Civil War, Kuhn informed Tharkad of his and his unit's survival with a tongue-in-cheek reference to a 20th Century Terran author's famous response to similar rumors.[2] After the Jihad, Kuhn remained in command of the Teyvareb TTM on Teyvareb by 3085.[3]
