Description[edit]
The most basic of foot infantry platoons, this type of unit is most often found fighting from emplacements or mechanized with the support of transport type Vehicles.
Armament[edit]
Often armed with rifles and other weapons that the individual trooper owns supplemented by support weaponry provided by the unit the type and complexity of weaponry in this type of platoon can vary wildly by region and faction.
