Fortune Charlie was a mercenary unit during the Dark Age.[1]
History
The unit was under contract of the Federated Suns and in 3147 joined the Davion forces that during Operation CERBERUS managed to retake New Syrtis.[2]
During that fight, most of the unit turned on Julian Davion in the depths of the New Syrtis Cave complex, though not the company known as The Barricade. Though reduced to six 'Mechs only, The Barricade counterattacked and held a critical juncture against the Fourth McCarron's Armored Cavalry and Fortune Charlie, being able to hold it for one hour until reinforcements from the Fifth Crucis Lancers were able to releave them.[1][3]
It was not confirmed if the unit survided the fight.[citation needed]
