In 3025 Galtor III was the stage of one of the largest battles of the Third Succession War. The AFFS lured the DCMS into a trap and almost lost the world to them. Only the disunity of the invading forces and finally arriving Davion reinforcements prevented a Kurita victory. Despite this, the system was lost to the Combine in the course of the Forth Succession War.
