History

Carver V

Under contract to House Liao, Jason was introduced to the mercenaries whom he saw were "tools" for his plans. He had little respect for the mercenaries under his employ and passed his mother's ideas as his own. Jason was shown to be hot-headed when he insisted on attacking House Davion directly rather than weakening them. Cho also showed that he was an incompetent commander during the campaign as many of his plans backfired. This would cause his mother to offer a cease-fire to House Steiner as a result. To Cho's chagrin, he was forced to bring the Mercenary forces as an honor guard should things go awry. As Renard and Cho both discussed starting an alliance, they both agreed that they should focus their efforts on Major Kelly of House Davion. But for the actions against House Steiner, Renard would expect a price from Jason: the death of the Mercenaries. Jason joyfully accepted the offer, sealing the deal between the two.[1]

Death

Jason: “Colonel Renard, give me more men! I will personally crush the mercenaries!”

Renard: “Very well, Lord Cho. I will leave this in your hands.”

—- Jason Cho to Renard after defeating the pursuing Steiner Mechs.

You career ends here, Mercenary!

—- Jason Cho’s final words before fighting the Mercenary’s forces.

Willing to prove his worth to Colonel Renard and House Steiner, Cho personally volunteered to destroy the mercenary forces himself. The attempt would end in failure as Jason would be killed by the mercenary forces. Although the media would claim that he died in a "freak training accident".

BattleMech

During the Campaign on Carver V, Cho piloted a modified Cyclops.
