Jason Melichar was an unknown battle armor fighter when on 3067 he appeared on the Class 1 battle armor circuit with a fully functional Kage suit. In his first fight, he defeated his adversary using an Infiltrator Mk I ending the fight by physically removing his opponent from his suit.
After that he got offers from several stables, finally selecting Toronaga Stables, and also a nickname after announcer Yosef Ghrisham called him "Caliper". From that day onward, Jason Melichar lacked for nothing... until the day the Word of Blake invaded the Game World.
He joined the resistance with the rest of his stable, and formed an ad hoc armored infantry platoon, cobbled together with various troopers from other stables. Thanks to his leadership, that ragtag bunch has been able to adapt to the various strengths and weaknesses of each member (and different battle armor) and has executed several successful raiding attacks on the Word of Blake forces. The most notable strike eliminated Precentor Grego Parkinson in his headquarters, the penthouse suite of the Golden Fist in Silesia.[1]
It is not known what happened to him after the Jihad.
