Despite being the son of a senior Dragoons commander, Colonel Sarah Weisz, Karl was a serious young man determined to succeed on his own merit, without outside help or influence. The Dragoons considered him a talented armored commander, who was as of 3030 in line to receive a BattleMech within the following two years.[1]
