Margret Goodwin was the commander of the Seventh Tamarind Regulars, with the Free Worlds League, as of 3152.[1]

In 3145, Colonel Goodwin was the commander of the Fourth Tamarind Regulars, based on Tamarind.[2]
In late 3151 and early 3152, Goodwin and the Seventh were ordered to assist the Wolf's Dragoons' Zeta Battalion with reclaiming a number of worlds from the Wolf Empire. Zeta were, however, so efficient at their task that Goodwin's Regulars struggled to keep up with the Dragoons, who quickly defeated the Clan Wolf garrisons on Labouchere and on Alula Borealis.[1][3] Goodwin was only finally able to catch up with Zeta on Trellisane in March 3152, where Major Haya Tetsuhara faced stiffer resistance from the defending 106th Wolf Garrison Cluster, at which time Goodwin was finally able to get a full report from the Dragoons on their successes.[4]
