Star Commander Marita Ch'in was a Bloodnamed Clan Wolf aerospace fighter pilot who participated in Operation REVIVAL.[1]
Description[edit]
Marita Ch'in was a Trueborn of the Clan's eugenic program and showed the usual characteristics of the pilot phenotype. However, what set her apart from the normal enlarged cranium, huge eyes and slender physique of other pilots was that her body was covered in scars. The most visible of which crossed her face. Her right leg and left arm were replaced with bionics after she lost them in her long career of combat.[2]
History[edit]
According to Clan records, Marita had been in over 130 engagements over her career by the time of the Battle of Tukayyid. She is recorded to have destroyed sixty-three enemy fighters and forty-one BattleMechs. She had her fighter shot out from under her ten times, but always survived, though her body showed the price for all of those years of combat.[2]
Though she was a great pilot and earned her rank, she was a poor officer. Twice she was reprimanded for being too harsh and cruel to the pilots under her command, especially the novice pilots. Her last reprimand forced her demotion in rank to Star Commander.[2]
Prior to the Battle of Tukayyid, Marita Ch'in served in the Fighter Rogue Star of the Trinary Rogue detachment of the Fourth Wolf Guards Cluster under Star Colonel Jera Carns.
Marita was wounded during the fighting on Tukayyid adding another scar to her body.[1]
