Description

Mercenaries Supplemental Update continues the Field Manual series of books detailing mercenary units, bringing the remaining major mercenary commands into the opening years of the Jihad. Along with brand-new units, the title also provides the status of the Inner Sphere's various Hiring Halls, rules for running units during this specific period and some new battlefield units.

Contents

  • "Paying Dues" - an introductory story by Nick Marsala
  • Mercenaries of the Jihad - background material on the status of the emerging war
  • Force Brief Updates - individual unit briefs
  • Mercenary Commands - new rules for the CBT board game
  • Mercenary Rules Annex
    • New Creation/Operations
    • Employers
    • New Mission: Bounty Hunting
    • Dependents
    • Housing and Base-building
    • Replacement Equipment rules expansion
    • Selling Out
    • Miscellaneous Personnel Rules
  • New Units
  • Record Sheets

Notes

  • One notable difference in this book from the previous Supplementals and Field Manuals is that the unit briefs do not include a detailed breakdown on the sub-units of the forces presented. Instead, the written history of the unit may be longer.
