History
The Marauders were a mercenary unit hired by the ComStar Explorer Corps force to assist them in the search of The Clans' Exodus Road. In January 3056 the Marauders engaged in two minor actions for control of the Clan Smoke Jaguar outpost in the Pivot system: first capturing the outpost only to quickly have it re-taken by a Jaguar relief force. Despite being outnumbered, the Jaguars managed to defeat the mercenaries, apparently capturing or killing them all. A minor naval engagement took place at the same time as two Union-C DropShips with fighter escorts crippled and boarded the Marauder's JumpShip.[1]
