The Mongol Doctrine was a philosophy created by the Clan Hell's Horses in the 32th century, and followed by the Clan Jade Falcon, and may be defined as a radical version of the neo-Crusader faction.

Philosophy

The Mongol Doctrine was created by Beta Galaxy (Clan hell's horses) and originally only applied the original Mongol's light cavalry tactics, emphasizing a highly mobile style of combat, inspired in the nomadic style of the ancient Mongols.[1] Applied by the Horses made a very efficient use of the Clans limited resources. The Falcon Galaxy Commander Malvina Hazen created a much more radical version: she, a ruthless warrior, even for the Clans, wholeheartedly embraced Mongol philosophy, focusing on other aspects of the old warriors: by her, the principles are ostentatious violence and applied in pursuit of conquest by any means.[2]

History

The Doctrine expanded quickly and decisively between the falcons, but always have traditionalist than opposed his followers, like Malvina's brother, Aleksandr Hazen, which only found followers inside his unit, Zeta Galaxy, and not too much.[3] And Aleksandr's death on the battle of Skye weakened the traditionalist's position, but other took his place, controlling the ruthless followers of the Mongol Doctrine, treating their defeated enemies honorably and defending the Falcon's traditions, case of Noritomo Helmer and Galaxy Commander Stephanie Chistu. After a civil war, the majority of the Falcons embraced the Doctrine, and some of the Horses too. Beta Galaxy of the Horses fully embraced Malvina's tactics, and eventually fell to them. In the planet Timkovichi, to destroy the mercenary group Kell's Hounds, ordered a orbital bombardment over them, destroying the majority of the group... and too most of Beta, who was fighting them.[4] Sometimes, the Mongol's tactics terrorized their enemies, easing their conquests. Specially when Malvina, after his units suffering a very determined resistance on planet Apostica, ordered all the water on planet poisoned with plutonium, condemning all the planet's population to a horrific death. Terrified, much other planets of the Alliance, surrendered without a shot.[5] But other times, the tactic was counterproductive, how in, 3140, when Falcon's Iota Galaxy began leveling towns and burning infrastructure on the planets they defend, to punish the population for the raids suffered under several mercenary groups. As these groups haven't any connection with the population, the Falcon's tactics only created rebellion where none existed before.[6] The most radical followers of the doctrine believe mainly in complete victory by any means, so don't hesitate to breach any rules, even the honor ones of his own Clan.[7]
