Monique "Moe" Histler was a pirate MechWarrior. At an unknown time during the greater Dark Age Era, she was abandoned on Botany Bay by her raiding party, left behind with three other pirates: Serena Yang, Johnny Rutger, and Manfred Gorsky. For over a year, they shared Serena's damaged Verfolger and raided the towns of Black Canyon County, operating from a cave in the canyon itself. Eventually, the county governor hired wandering mercenaries to hunt down the pirates; whether they succeeded is unknown.

Among the abandoned pirates, Moe was the closest to their leader Serena, serving as a bodyguard and confidant of sorts. This was first and foremost due to Moe's distrust of the men in the group.

After her abandonment, Moe was among the pilots sharing Serena Yang's Verfolger.
