History

Morcock's Crushers were a mercenary unit working for House Davion. In 3014 they took part in a mercenary raid against St. Ives (implicitly the same famous ill-fated raid that was chiefly conducted by fellow mercenary units Kingston's Commandos and Tristram's Terrorists). The defending Devon's Armored Infantry of the St. Ives Armored Cavalry took twelve MechWarriors from Morcock's Crushers prisoner, only for them to be beheaded by Colonel Devon personally who then returned the severed heads to the local Davion commander in vinegar.[1]
