History[edit]

Steiner-Nelson was the Lyran Commonwealth's lead negotiator, in failed prisoner exchange talks with the Free Worlds League, as of 2828. She reportedly had a prior relationship with Duke Kendall Marik, her FWL counterpart during the prisoner exchange talks, which led some to speculate that a lovers tiff was behind the break down in their talks. The talks failure was noted as one of the causes for the start of the Second Succession War.[3][4]
