Sasha Wanli was Director of the Capellan Confederation’s Intelligence Service, the Maskirovka, during Chancellor Sun Tzu Liao’s rule following the assassination of his father and previous director, Tsen Shang.

Initially, Sasha Wanli assumed the post of director following the death of Tsen Shang, Sun Tzu’s Liao’s father and previous director. Sun Tzu would keep her in the position for #years until her her degrading health forced her into retirement, relinquishing the office to (successor) as Interim Director. Chancellor Sun Tzu called her out of retirement to reassume the post following (her successor’s) execution for conducting rogue operations.[1]
