Tanya DeLaurel was a saKhan and Khan of Clan Hell's Horses.

Biography

A Hell's Horses Ristar, Tanya DeLaurel would rise to command the Horses' Alpha Galaxy. Her leadership, tactical abilities, and most of all success against the Ghost Bears on Niles in 3046 would bring her to the attention of Malavai Fletcher. Personally chosen to be his saKhan, her level-headed nature would temper the more chaotic nature of her Khan. Though known to have a Crusader mindset, her reserve put her in sharp contrast with her Khan.[2]

It was often rumored that it was her abilities that brought about the first Horse incursion into the Inner Sphere. Though this would end in failure, she would keep her position and continue to work for the betterment of her Clan. In 3061, seeing the need for a DropShip capable of transporting the combined arms troops of the Horses, saKhan DeLaurel would commission the new Outpost-class vessel.

Khanship and Death

Remaining the Horse SaKhan of during the tumultuous Wars of Reaving, Tanya DeLaurel assisted Khan James Cobb in planning for the Horse's return to the Inner Sphere. Elected as Khan in 3081, DeLaurel would only lead Clan Hell's Horses for a handful of years before being killed on Bruben during a Clan Wolf Trial of Possession. [3]

BattleMechs

Originally known for her Mad Dog salvaged from the battlefields of Niles, DeLaurel would claim the first Balius to emerge from its production lines. Her skill and ability at the helm of the quad BattleMech would impress the capabilities of the machine onto the Warriors of her Clan.
