Summary
Arden Sortek, disenchanted with Hanse Davion's political ploys, seeks reassignment to battle. When captured by Liao troops and taken to a hospital, he witnesses a double of Hanse in a pre-designed move to discredit him as the one who could tell the two apart. Sortek with friends rescues Hanse and foils the plot, avoiding an impending war with House Steiner.
