Three White Roses is a short story by Craig A. Reed, Jr. that was published in the twelfth issue of Shrapnel.

Plot summary[edit]
The 29 April 2525, Cadmon, security head of First Prince Alexander Davion, was making sure to keep him protected from all threats, as he was a de facto captive, surrounded with enemies. The 2 May, Cadmon had a secret meeting in a bar, where he contacted with Theodora, an assumed terrorist, but de facto an important Suns' loyalist supporting Alexander against his captors. After saying the password, Three White Roses, representing Alexander, his wife and son, Cadmon ask them for help to get the Prince offworld. The 5 May, Cadmon found himself and his men replaced by Regent's Varnay's men, lead by a man called Mr. Ferryman. Convinced than they were to kill the Prince, he makes preparations to escape.
