Description

Designed at the request of Dieron Military District's Warlord, Vasily Cherenkoff, the Tsuru VIP Aircraft was designed as a swift, well-protected aircraft to carry himself and his senior officers with the luxury afforded by his rank. Basing the design off the already-successful Graceful Crane airliner, the Tsuru was enlarged and given much stronger armor. In addition, three tons of military grade communications equipment was installed, allowing the Tsuru to act as a mobile headquarters if necessary, and is even capable of projecting a limited ECCM field around the craft.[2]

Equipment and Capabilities

The Tsuru can carry fifteen tons of cargo, accessed by a single door in the aft. This is often used to carry armored limousines so that Warlord Cherenkoff could disembark from the aircraft into his motorcade without exposing himself to possible threats. Most notably, however, the Tsuru is equipped with four Chaff Pods to guard against missile attack.[2]

Related Aircraft

Graceful Crane - The Tsuru utilizes an enlarged and strengthened frame based on the one utilized in the civilian airliner, the Graceful Crane. [2]

Notes

The image of the Tsuru was originally used by ACL-800 Comet from Technical Readout: Vehicle Annex.

As of this writing, there no publish record Battle Value 2 for the Tsura or it's less militarized variant.
