Fireant/Flea
In the article for MechCommander 2 you piped the Fireant link through to Flea. I'm curious - is there any information supporting the assumption that these are the same 'Mech? I doubt it, especially considering that the Flea is 20 tons whereas the Fireant is 30 tons. But since I haven't played that game, I simply don't know. Frabby 19:10, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- Technical Readout: 3050 Upgrade's Flea entry talks about the Fire Ant under the "variants" section (and it gets a record sheet in RS3050U), and that's also listed in our Flea entry here. The in-game sprite for the Fire Ant also definitely looks like a Flea. It is a bit of a supposition on my part, but it seemed more logical to link to an extant 'Mech than create a stub for something that hasn't yet been clearly defined in canon. It could go either way, though. Citizen Erased 19:17, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- Good find! I don't have either of the sources you cited. It may be worth to expand this into a full article for the Fireant, or else, a referenced sub-section as a variant for the Flea (hint hint). :) Frabby 19:33, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'll start drafting a bigger entry for the Fire Ant as a heading for the Flea page, maybe? I'll try and find a good image of the Fire Ant's sprite, too.Citizen Erased 19:36, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

New Year Pages
Thanks for helping to re-vamp the Year Pages. Please read thru Policy:Year Pages to see why we don't use references nor keep entries that are not supported in the support article. (The ref/biblio issue is a bit more important right now, in my opinion, than double-checking each entry for support.)--Revanche (talk|contribs) 22:59, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'll double-check it, sure thing - I just wanted to start throwing the new templates in when I had a few minutes. Citizen Erased 02:39, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
Moratorium violations
Hi there. I saw on the Sling and Hoplite pages that you've been citing Historical: Operation Klondike. That source is currently under moratorium because it hasn't come out in print yet. I know you've put a lot of hard work into those articles, so I'm hoping you could just drop some comment tags around the content that came from Historical Operation Klondike.
Any content you make based on Record Sheets: Operation Klondike is fine though. (Confusing, isn't it?)
