I like your name. It amused me when I saw it on my Watchlist. Welcome to Sarna. By the way, this is the first (and still only) wiki I've tried to edit as well. Good place to get started. Welcome
Welcome
Welcome to Sarna! Your copyedits are highly appreciated, it's a task that cannot always be gotten to. But I can't call it a thankless job, as I'm very much thanking you right now. --Rebs (talk) 06:52, 23 April 2013 (PDT)
- Following on from Rebs comment above, I think you've made a good start on a never-ending task here. It's great to see someone working to improve the standard of the existing material here, and I think that's well worth giving you your first Casual Edit Award: - we'll need a mod or admin person to set up the awards board on your user profile, but as soon as they do, you'll have your first award ready to go on it. Welcome to Sarna, and keep up the good work! BrokenMnemonic (talk) 09:38, 25 April 2013 (PDT)
Thank you for the warm welcome! This is the first time I've tried to contribute to a wiki, so I'm going slowly as I (try) to pick up on the skills needed. For instance, I've been looking at introducing myself, but I just can't figure out what to do... Nuclear-Fridge (talk) 02:48, 27 April 2013 (PDT)
- Then let me suggest BattleTechWiki:New user log to you. You won't get a response there but we do read them. Welcome!--Revanche (talk|contribs) 04:43, 27 April 2013 (PDT)
- No go. I've tried to follow the instructions and post an intro... and exactly nothing happens. It's driving me crazy... Nuclear-Fridge (talk) 07:35, 1 May 2013 (PDT)
- And don't forget to keep an eye on your edit count, which you can find in the user score page via the special pages link at the bottom of the tool bar on the left. Based on the way you're editing up a storm, when the edit count updates (which it does at some point every Sunday morning, UK time) you'll be over 100 edits, and eligible for your first edit award ribbon. We'll have that awards board filling up before you know it! BrokenMnemonic (talk) 00:18, 2 May 2013 (PDT)
That is the only place I can't edit: the Introductions. The problem might be at my end -- at the moment, I'm limited to a library-access computer for Internet, and it has given me a few headaches regarding other sites I frequent...
- Just wanted to join the others in welcoming you to Sarna! I should warn you that starting with small copyedits like you're doing often leads to a more serious problem: Writing articles and contributing more information to existing ones. So don't be surprised if you develop a habit. --Mbear(talk) 07:53, 2 May 2013 (PDT)
Huh. I think your warning's a little bit late, Mbear. Nuclear-Fridge (talk) 01:37, 3 May 2013 (PDT)
