Duke Ban Gustafson was the noble ruler of the Federated Suns world Caph as of 3039.[1]
History[edit]
Gustafson was the planetary ruler of Caph during the War of 3039, when it was a key logistical and command headquarters for the Dieron thrust of the allied campaign. The Duke objected to the military's interference in his commercial affairs, including taking over space-traffic control and the inspection of civilian DropShips, even though it only lasted for the duration of the hostilities.
These conflicts soured relations between House Gustafson and the military for some time afterwards.[1]
