McClure's Hive was a mercenary unit operating in the rimward Periphery.[1]
History[edit]
In early 3069 Elliria McClure quietly recruited a number of Magistracy of Canopus MechWarriors disillusioned with the ties between the Magistracy and the Capellan Confederation. They rendezvoused on Herotitus where McClure had been quietly establishing a cache of ’Mechs, primarily older scouts such as Wasps, Stingers, Hornets, and Fleas. After recruiting heavily from the Dispossessed on planet the Hive numbered nearly a regiment. Their first contracts were with the Fronc Reaches and the Calderon Protectorate, including antipirate missions on Diik.[1][2]

The Hive specializes in reconnaissance, covert operations, and harassment. Second battalion is training in night operations.[1][2]
