Colonel Morgana Kirkpatrick (née LaFayre) was an officer with the minor mercenary unit the Kirkpatrick's Bandit Killers.[1][2]

Morgana was a native of the Magistracy of Canopus, with raven hair, and a penchant for wearing black leather off-duty. This look, together with her maiden name "LaFayre, earned her the nickname "the Witch".
Despite being the wife of her unit commander James Kirkpatrick, and the mother of his only child, Morgana was a cool and collected warrior. During a raid on the world of Andiron for the Lyran Commonwealth, Morgana accounted for three Circinian bandit kills, including a vintage Hussar whose origins remain a mystery.[1][2]
While initially a Lieutenant and support lance commander, in 3051 after her husbands death, Morgana became the Colonel and commander of the renamed Kirkpatrick’s Invaders. She led the unit through numerous deep raids against the Clans through the 3050s, including a number against Clan Jade Falcon during Operation Bulldog, but was ultimately killed during a raid on Apollo in 3061.[4]

Morgana was known to pilot an ancient, battle-worn Trebuchet BattleMech, nicknamed "Rain Maker".[1][2]
