Teresa was a freeborn Star Colonel who was elected to be saKhan of Clan Jade Falcon under Khan Jiyi Chistu.[1]

During the Battle of Sudeten, Star Colonel Teresa commanded four Trinaries—two each from the Falcon Sentinels and the Sudeten Garrison Cluster—in the defense of Trellshire Heavy Industries against Clan Hell's Horses' Thirty-ninth Mechanized Assault Cluster under the command of Star Colonel Wilson Amirault. Amirault felt sure of victory, but then the Lone Wolves mercenary unit entered the fray on the side of the Falcons, forcing the Horses to fall back into a siege position. On the third day of the siege, Falcon MiningMechs and infantry emerged from a cave-in under the Hell's Horses command center, which the Falcons destroyed before withdrawing. Facing similar difficulties on the other side of the planet, Khan Gottfried Amirault ordered all units to withdraw from the planet.[2]
In the aftermath of the battle, Khan Jiyi Chistu allowed Teresa to be elected as his new saKhan, breaking with the rules and traditions of old.[1]
